Transgender rocket scientist and advocate, Amethysta Herrick, PhD, shares her incredible life story and tackles the impact of current legislation on the trans community. From her realization at age 12 that her male body did not fit her, to multiple suicide attempts and an education designed to provide the tools to “fix” her, Ami hopes her story will bring greater understanding to the challenges faced by trans individuals, especially in today’s toxic political environment.
