Because of a serious health issue involving my wife, Jackie, I will be pausing my Lean to the Left podcast until mid-March when I intend to relaunch a renewed version that I hope you will support.
I do not want to go into details publicly regarding what’s happening with her, but it’s a long-term illness for which there is no cure — one that Trump has cut research funding for. It’s tearing me up both physically and mentally and I do not feel I can do justice to my podcast or the guests who generously give their time to appear for interviews.
For now, please accept my thanks for your support for Lean to the Left, both this blog and the podcast. It means a great deal to me.
This will really affect only the podcast as I intend to continue the blog without interruption, thanks largely to the contributions from other writers who help provide insight and depth regarding the incredibly important developments taking place in our country today. I launched this site several years ago as my way of responding to Trump’s attack on the media and the First Amendment, and that is worsening today. So, anyone who cares about democracy and freedom must speak out as silence amounts to compliance.
For now, please accept my thanks for your support for Lean to the Left, both this blog and the podcast. It means a great deal to me as I focus on Jackie and the care that she needs.

Oh Bob so sorry you and Jackie are going through this! The cuts to medical research that he has stripped is so devastating. So appreciate your work during these most difficult times in our nation. My thoughts are with you both.
